Oh that wonderful brand that built a name based on some of the finest gems and jewelry in the world: Cartier. It is a name that rings true of beauty, elegance, extravagance and savoir-faire. Perhaps only a handful of grand jewelry houses can boast such an esteemed past and present–not to mention presence.
Once again, Cartier rolls out the grandeur in its timepieces, demonstrating its remarkable prowess as a jeweler and as a watchmaker. Never tiring of its famous panther, the brand brings the coveted creature to new heights this year in several majestic timepieces. First and foremost is the perfectly formed, fascinatingly complex panther watch in actual feline form.

With structured contours and distinct elegance, this stunning bangle watch is crafted in 18-karat white gold set entirely with diamonds. At the top of the bangle sits the panther’s graceful head, as it looks onto the watch dial of rock crystal and diamond pave.
Another stunning beauty is a watch pendant with a panther motif crafted in 18-karat yellow gold, black lacquer stripes and diamond accents. This necklace watch is part of the new Cartier Liebre collection and is perfectly balanced between two black silk cords that are accented on the bottom with diamond-adorned gold baubles for a beautiful finish. The vertical rectangular case shape is dramatic, daring and ever so inviting.
In typical Cartier style, the brand also reinforces its unusual-shapes story. In the past, the brand has offered so many wonderful case shapes ranging from the sofa to the paper clip and beyond. Now, this fashion-forward house has reinterpreted the rectangle with a masterful asymmetrical design that places the horizontal rectangle on a stunning angle. Crafted in 18-karat gold with glittering diamonds, the watch features a white dial with Roman numerals that play hide-and-seek with time. As the asymmetrical rectangle angles across the dial, it cuts out numerals at both the top and bottom for a whimsical appeal.
