IWC continues its cooperation with the Cousteau Society, a relationship that has been beneficial to both organizations. Part of the proceeds from the sales of this collection benefit the Cousteau Society. This year's update of the wildly popular blue-dialed Cousteau Divers model is larger by two millimeters, up from 42mm to 44mm in diameter. This year it includes a genuine piece of the Cousteau's ship, Calypso, the same vessel used as headquarters for much of the organization's work. A piece from the ship has been cut, polished and inlaid into the back of the case. A metallic silhouette of the ship is also visible in the wood. Only 2,500 of the watches will be created.

Ingenieur Midsize
Finally, for all those who seek smaller, more precious cases, IWC now offers its solid Ingenieur in 34mm rose gold. The watch extends the reach of what was last year's major launch by the firm. The new version also comes on a satiny brown strap made from a durable synthetic fiber.
