Doctor’s Chronograph
The La Joux Perret single-button chronograph is a wonder to operate and its overall appearance and operation (single-button control with elapsed chronograph minutes and running seconds vertically aligned) is reminiscent of a late 1920s model wrist chronograph. With a pulsometer scale, these were known as doctor’s chronographs because the physician would check 15 pulses and read off the rate using the scale on the dial. Unlike the Sportster chronographs, this model is a slower beat (21,600 bph) manually wound movement. The 42mm case is made in rose gold or white gold.

This one-minute tourbillon, with
automatic movement, features an
eight-day power reserve, scrolls of
Fleurisanne engraving and diamonds.
The Doctor’s Chronograph
features a single push button.
