ULYSSE NARDIN
Maxi Marine Chronometer 43 mm
Ulysse Nardin’s seafaring history is recalled in its logo, a traditional anchor. The firm’s eponymous founder was known for his expertly engineered marine chronometers. While there is no need for specialized mechanical clocks on the bridges of today’s ocean liners, the brand proudly pays homage to its founder’s place in the annals of horology with the Maxi Marine Chronometer. The piece is available in rose gold ($33,000) and steel ($6,400).
TUTIMA  Yachting Chronograph
Now the official timekeeper of the world’s largest sailing event, Kiel Week, Tutima introduces a countdown chronograph created especially for regattas. This watch is powered by a new old stock Lémania 5100, a movement that is no longer in production. A lightweight titanium case and brightly colored dial give the watch a truly sporty character. The Yachting Chronograph retails for $3,500 on a strap, $3,800 on a bracelet.
VILLEMONT
Amundsen Collection Solar Navigator
In early 2007, luxury watch company Villemont merged with Norway’s only watch company, Amundsen Oslo. Jörgen Amundsen, following in Roald Amundsen’s footsteps, has created a line of rugged, robust navigational watches for extreme situations. The Solar Navigator is the first product since the merger and displays characteristics of both brands beautifully. Prices: $8,500 (steel), $9,500 (titanium), $17,000 (red gold).
